Do be realistic when setting aside a budget
Do go for what you feel comfortable in (you will be wearing it all day)
Do take accessories with you and colour examples

Don’t panic if you have left it to the last minute
Don’t panic buy (if the dress is in a sale)
Don’t panic if you still haven’t found your dress with only 4 months to go
Don’t take too many people with you when trying on the dresses
Don’t become obsessed
Don’t overdo the underwear (minimum is the key)
Don’t be afraid to be brave

What you must keep in the forefront of your mind is what you want, okay your friends and family will be there to give advice but they are not you and you are the one that needs to feel comfortable but amazing at the same time.  Go with your gut instinct and don’t be shy to try other styles as this will eliminate designs from a long list and will help you to find the perfect dress.
